Ajay Santhosh Parvathareddy of Class IV-A participated in the under-9 age category in 14TH UP State FIDE Rated Chess Championship and secured 2nd position in this championship. He was awarded a medal and certificate in this championship. He also participated in the under 10, Open category of Commonwealth Chess Championship, 2019 held at New Delhi. He scored 3 points of possible 7 rounds and secured 47th position in the championship. He participated in U.P School Chess Quest- 2019 organized by SPORTS MAGNET held at The Wisdom Tree School, Greater Noida in the under-13 age category and scored 6 points out of 6 points. He secured 1st position in the championship.

All India Chess Federation organized Western Asian Youth Championship at New Delhi from September 4th to 11th, 2019. The dynamic player Ajay Santhosh Parvathareddy made his mark in the tournament. He participated in the under-10 age category and secured a 16th position in this championship. He showed tremendous maturity and maintained his calm under pressure to bring home the laurels. He played his moves with rapt concentration and collected demeanour.
