Ramagya School, Noida celebrated KYOT-the winter carnival on 18th January 2020. It was an exuberant celebration and a fun-filled day on the school ground. The winter carnival-themed “KYOT-Know your own Tradition” was organized with an aim to make the children know about their country, provide a platform for students to exhibit their skills and talents as well as foster the feeling of community The carnival was inaugurated by the Chairman of Ramagya Group Dr Sanjay Gupta and Mr Utkarsh Gupta the Managing Director, Ramagya Group. The carnival was an effort by the students of Ramagya School, under the aegis of Ramagya Foundation for the project “Class on Wheels” to take education to underprivileged children of remote areas. Principal Ms Aparna Magee spoke on the occasion and enlightened the gathering about the noble cause for which the student council was working passionately. She appreciated and acknowledged the hard work put up by the students and staff.
The carnival provided experiential learning through group involvement in organising of game stalls, cultural performances, learning corners and talent show. Learning corners provided hands-on experience to students in getting to know our country better. The stage was set on fire by performances of students, parents and teachers. The performance by tiny tots of Pre-Primary was a treat to the eyes. The ATL projects like Hand-powered generator, water conservation fountain and human-robot were put on display and garnered much interest from parents. The projects were appreciated and lauded by the parents. The Organic Floor Cleanser made by the students was a major hit. The Four Learning corners representing the four regions of the country were loved and appreciated by the parents. There was enthusiastic participation for Open Entries and Talent Show. The evening also saw many winners walking away with prizes from the Talent show and open entries. The curtains fell late in the evening with a DJ performance by a student of Class IX. It was a great show showing active participation, dedication and coordination by the Ramagya Fraternity.
