To commemorate Earth Day 2025, Ramagya School – Sector 50 launched the Power-Down Initiative – a conscious step toward environmental responsibility and energy conservation. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about climate change, inspire sustainable habits among students and families, and honor the legacy of Earth Day as envisioned by its founder, Senator Gaylord Nelson. Through this campaign, students were encouraged to power down non-essential devices at home, engage in conversations about eco-friendly choices, and explore practical ways to reduce their energy footprint – from using natural light to adopting energy-efficient appliances. The initiative also encouraged families to share their commitment with friends and neighbors, creating a ripple effect of green awareness.

With every switch turned off, our Ramagya community took a step closer to a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
