Ramagya School, Noida celebrated ‘International Mother Earth Day’, to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment among its students through a series of activities. A special assembly was also conducted to discuss ways of healing our earth with a pledge of adopting practices in their daily life like – switching off electrical appliances when not in need, recycling plan, fixing leaky faucets, planting a tree, using a carpool service, giving up bottled water, going paperless, etc. Students came up with amazing and creative ideas for making products such as birdhouses, wall hangings, pen stands, cards, bags, and many more recycled products. The day was marked not only by awareness but also enthusiasm on the part of students.
