Ramagya School was selected as the first school by Noida Police to start their initiative of creating awareness among the students and parents about cyber safety. Noida Police, in association with Women Power Line, India Fortune Foundation, and Meta organized an online workshop on ‘Digital Literacy Training – Staying Safe Online’ on Saturday, 4th December 2021 from 11.30 am onwards. The workshop was presided over and addressed by Mr. Alok Singh, Commissioner of Police, Gautam Budh Nagar. The risks and dangers of the internet and the digital world were discussed in the workshop. Students along with their parents participated in the workshop where they were made aware of the knowledge and skills that they must possess to stay safe in an online environment and how cyber-bullies or predators may try to harm. The students were sensitized about cyber privacy and were encouraged to be extra careful in the digital world.
