Ramagya School proudly applauds the remarkable achievement of Garvit Jain (Class VI – E), who secured Second Position at the 2nd AGCA International FIDE Rated Classical Chess Tournament, an international-level championship held in the Open Category at Hotel Shubh Mangal Grand, Gwalior.

Demonstrating exceptional strategic thinking, patience, and composure well beyond his years, Garvit competed against skilled players from diverse backgrounds and emerged victorious with a cash prize of ₹20,000 along with a trophy. His performance reflects not only sharp analytical ability but also the confidence required to excel on a global platform.

This outstanding accomplishment is the result of Garvit’s consistent dedication and focused training under the expert mentorship of Coach Shashank Kumar. His journey has been further supported by the inspiring leadership of our esteemed Principal, Ms. Rina Singh, and the continued encouragement of our Sports Coordinator, Mr. Sandeep Sharma, whose commitment to nurturing sporting excellence plays a vital role in shaping young achievers.

At Ramagya School, we take pride in fostering intellectual sports like chess that strengthen critical thinking, discipline, and resilience—preparing students to excel not only in competitions, but in life.
