District Chess Tournament 2026 at Ramagya School Featured in Print Media

Ramagya School, Sector 50, proudly hosted the District Chess Tournament 2026, bringing together some of the district’s most promising young chess players for a day of strategic thinking, focus, and competitive excellence.
Organised by the District Sports Department, Gautam Buddha Nagar, in association with the District Chess Sports Association, Gautam Buddha Nagar, the tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation across multiple age categories, providing students with a platform to showcase their analytical skills, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The event was graced by Ms Medha Roopam, IAS, District Magistrate, and Dr Parvez Ali, District Sports Officer, who encouraged participants and appreciated the growing culture of mind sports among young learners.
The tournament concluded with remarkable performances across categories, with talented players demonstrating exceptional concentration, strategic planning, and competitive spirit. The successful conduct of the event and the inspiring performances of the participants earned recognition in leading print media, highlighting the significance of the tournament in promoting chess and intellectual sports among students.
