Ramagya School, Noida organised a ‘Mock Market’ for the students of class I and Class II on 22 nd and 26 th February’ 2019 within the school premises. The objective behind conducting the activity was to introduce the concept of money and give them a chance to apply their knowledge in the real world. The entire atmosphere was charged with excitement and enthusiasm of the students. The children happily slipped into the roles of buyers and sellers. They pretended to buy the things, calculated and told the total cost of the things they had bought and what amount will they get in return. The activity was a foreword to the sale, purchase and creating awareness of the value of goods. The activity also enabled the students to do mental calculations and infused a feeling of responsibility and fellowship among them.
