Ramagya School, Noida celebrated Inter-House Sports Week from 4 th February to 12 th February 2019 with great zeal, vigour and sportsmanship thus infusing frolicsome attitude in the atmosphere. The programme commenced with the welcome speech by the school Principal, Ms. Aparna Magee which was followed by the lighting of the torch, March Past by the students and oath-taking ceremony. Thereafter, the sports events were conducted for the students of Classes I to XI. The exciting field events included – matches of Football, Badminton, Skating, Table Tennis, Basketball, Cricket and Lawn Tennis, Kid-Fit Sports events, Races (50m, 100m,200m and Hurdle race), Relay races(4 X 100m), Long jump, Shot-put and Discuss Throw.
The Basketball tournament witnessed a lot of close contests with each team jumping and leaping to score baskets. All the events were played with the aim of imbuing spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship among the students. All the competitions were neck to neck wherein each House put in their best foot forward. Gandhi House was declared victorious Sarojini House, Runner Up, Indra House secured the third place whereas Tagore House secured the fourth place.
After completion of the sports events, proud winners were honoured with medals. The collective energy of children and facilitators added up to enthusiastic and fun-filled Inter-House Sports Week celebrations.
