Ramagya School, Noida conducted a Virtual Live Yoga Session for its students and parents on June 21, 2020, Sunday to celebrate the International Yoga Day. Amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic this year’s theme was ‘Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family’. The School conducted three different sessions for respective wings. The Pre-primary session was conducted by Ms. Swati Sharma our in-house Yoga expert and the Primary wing session was conducted by Ms. Bindu Sharma our faculty for Physical Education.
For Middle and High School wing students and parents, the yoga mats were rolled out to bend and twist their bodies in complex postures from the safety of their homes under the guidance of our worthy Parent Volunteer, Ms Ekta Malik, Yoga Instructor and Founder of Yoga Mantra on Online platform to mark the International Day of Yoga on June 21 amid Covid-19.
Yoga can be termed as a one-size-fits-all solution to fight stress and other ailments including depression and anxiety. The event highlighted the intrinsic link between yoga and staying fit. The session was successful in sensitizing audience on how to stay active and healthy amidst this lockdown.
