Ramagya School, Noida conducted a special assembly to celebrate the 71st Republic Day. The grandeur of the day was greatly enhanced by a patriotic song sung by the mellifluous school choir and the soulful performance students. Mesmerizing medley dance performance by the dance group added colour, purity and freshness to the prevailing in the morning atmosphere.
The Principal, Ms Aparna Magee, in her address to the gathering, expressed pride in the rich cultural past of the country. She urged every student to work with honesty and dedication for the nation and she especially emphasized that girls and boys should be treated indiscriminately and only then the upbringing of the children and the values taught would help them to be good and proud citizens of India.
The assembly came to an end with a sincere hope that today’s generation would be true patriots who would come together to start a journey of peace, harmony and progress.
