Venue: School Auditorium

“Teachers should be the best minds in the country”. These words of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great Indian philosopher, and statesman are very thoughtful. He was also the President of India and his birthday is celebrated nationwide as Teacher’s Day. The students of classes IV B presented a Special Assembly on the occasion of Teacher’s Day held in the School Auditorium. The two narrators, Saatvik Tiwari, and Kriti Sharma took the audience through the program with enthusiasm and confidence. The assembly started with
the class choir praying to the Almighty for a knowledge filled journey of life ahead. A beautiful poem on the importance of Teacher’s Day was recited by Ramneek Kaur. The choir then soulfully sang ' We shall overcome'. The students of class III & IV also presented a dance dressed in white and blue outfits. Students enjoyed and imitated the laughing exercises as instructed by Soumil Kashyap. Trophy to the winner of Drawing Competition organized by The Times of India was given by Principal, Ms. Aparna Magee who motivated the children by sharing her views on the occasion. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem played on the harmonium. It was indeed a special start to a delightful day.
