Money plays an important part in our everyday lives. Class II students of Ramagya School, Noida participated in classroom activity “Money makes the world go round”. The activity aimed at not only evoking critical thinking of students but also stimulating their creativity and analytical skills.
In this activity, all the students of Class II visited the school canteen, read the menu, and bought the eatables of their choice for Rs.20.They learnt to calculate -how much money they need to pay and what is the balance amount which will be paid back to them. The students learned through the activity how to count money, recognize coins, notes, and make the change. They also learned to relate the value of money to personal consumption.
