Ramagya School, Noida celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti also known as Prakash Utsav,on 18th November, 2021. The day celebrates the birth of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak Dev. The festival is celebrated on the day of Kartik Poornima, which is the fifteenth lunar day in the month of Kartik.
The students were told how following the path of universal brotherhood and peace results in national integration and communal harmony. The values like patience, tolerance, honesty, and sharing makes us better human beings. The students participated in Art based activity-“Making of Khanda and Ek Onkar Symbol”. A discussion about the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji took place. The festival was celebrated by all the students with great pride, honor, and respect.
