Buddha Purnima commemorates and celebrates the birth and enlightenment of Lord Buddha. A Special Assembly on ‘Buddha Purnima’ was conducted by students of Grade I to V. The celebrations began with an informative talk presented by the teachers, followed by thought-of-the-day based on the teachings of Buddha. Teachers also presented a PPT and some videos to demonstrate ‘Eightfold Path’ which consists of eight practices to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha and his teachings. Students got to know the significance of this day and they learned Gautam Buddha’s teachings with much fervour and interest.
