The students of Ramagya School, Dadri celebrated Teacher’s Day on 04th September 2019 to express their gratitude towards their teachers. The birth date of the 2nd President of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan has been celebrated as Teacher’s Day since 1962.
The students of Ramagya School, Dadri celebrated the Teacher’s day with enthusiasm and vigour. The teachers were welcomed to the auditorium with the traditional ‘tilak of vermillion’ on their foreheads by the students. The little ones from Grade 1st presented a Fashion show and walked the ramp dressed up and adopting the mannerism of their favourite teacher. Thereafter, these little ones from Grade K.G. & Nursery presented a poem in appreciation of their teachers.
There was a skit presented by Grade 5th students and a dance presented by Grade 8th students and another dance by the girls of Grade 6th & 7th. Another skit was presented by Grade 8th students in which they enacted the roles of their favourite teachers.
Last but not the least, the students invited the teachers to express their feelings, an outward manifestation of their inner performance selves on stage. This cause forth in the form of dance performance by Ms Madhulika and another dance performance by the Dance Teacher Mr.Praveen. Cake cutting ceremony was also done with Principal Ma’am and the teachers.
